Chiropractic care is a form of natural healthcare that focuses on diagnosing and treating neuromusculoskeletal disorders. We use manual manipulation and other adjunctive therapies such as soft tissue mobilization, corrective exercises, laser therapy, and other tools to help you function better, reduce pain, and improve overall health.
Absolutely! We will use techniques tailored specifically for you and provide additional guidance regarding lifestyle habits such as exercise, nutrition, posture, and stress management that can help support your progress. Chiropractic care is also non-invasive and medication-free, making it a safe and effective way to manage musculoskeletal issues.
Many insurance plans provide coverage for chiropractic care, although this varies depending on your insurance policy. We will always do our best to check with your insurance about your benefits and explain what is and is not covered. It is always best for you to check with your carrier as well.
Each chiropractic session typically includes a physical examination, range of motion tests, postural assessments, and neurological tests. After diagnosis, we will create a personalized treatment plan consisting of manual manipulation, stretching and strengthening exercises, and/or other adjunctive treatments we find necessary and beneficial to your condition.
That's OK and you are not alone in this. Many people who have never visited a chiropractor may be nervous about the adjustment. But while the adjustment is safe, we have many tools in our tool belt to achieve results that don't involve manual manipulation. Your comfortability and preferences are very important to us, so you will never be forced to do something you are not comfortable with.
We understand life happens and things come up but we ask that if you need to cancel your appointment or reschedule, that you give us a 24 hour notice. This is to protect our time and the time of other patients that may be needing that same time. Calling, leaving a message, or email work great in letting us know you will not be able to make your appointment. "Late cancels" and "no shows" may be subject to a $25 fee that is not billable to your insurance. As a courtesy, we offer reminder texts in advance to help you avoid any conflicts. We appreciate your cooperation.
